About us

Kohorta (formerly CUIA Fund) is a Canadian non-profit organization working towards supporting Ukraine and strengthening the Ukrainian community in Canada.

The organization was founded in June 2015 by a number of Ukrainian-Canadian volunteers, who were dedicating their efforts to helping Ukraine and strengthening the Ukrainian community in Canada since 2013. They have decided to expand their activity, create an NGO and help those in need in Ukraine as well as engage more people in the Ukrainian-Canadian community.

We are based in Toronto, ON, but have representatives in a number of other locations across Canada and Ukraine.

In Ukraine we work with local NGOs and civic society activists on a number of projects and initiatives (supporting Veterans’ programs, organizing rehabilitation missions, supporting schools etc.) In Canada, we organize awareness campaigns, gala events and documentary movie screenings. We also support local community schools and run a project for seniors.

For more information on our events check out the Event page of the website.

We are always happy to accept new members. Send us an email or fill in the online form.

We are committed to providing financial reports to demonstrate full transparency. Reports can be obtained upon request.
